Berry-licious jams and jellies
Juicy-tart red and black currants brighten up the start of summer. In late summer, aromatic raspberries and blackberries will then fill your garden until September. For particularly sweet berries, choose a sunny to partially shaded, sheltered location. The shadier the location, the more acidic your fruit will be. Ordinary garden soil is sufficient for planting, but adding some compost or organic fertilizer will promote growth. The soil should also be kept consistently moist during the first few weeks. Otherwise, your bushes are relatively undemanding; old shoots only need to be trimmed once a year. Whether you want a healthy snack on warm summer days or to enjoy your delicious jellies well into winter: With your set, you receive 4 different berry varieties to suit every taste.
