How to best care for your orchid: The butterfly orchid, with its numerous, pure white blossoms, brings a touch of luxury to your home. This plant is not only a small rarity but also an absolute eye-catcher! Generally, the orchid is a very beginner-friendly and easy-care plant. However, there are a few things to keep in mind. You should choose a bright to partially shaded location. Avoid direct sunlight, especially at midday. Ideally, maintain a consistent room temperature of 17 to 21 °C (63 to 70 °F). Pay close attention to good humidity; simply mist the plant occasionally with soft water. Water your orchid regularly, but avoid waterlogging and again use soft water if possible. During the growing season, a weekly soak is recommended. To do this, place the pot in a bowl of rainwater or soft tap water for a while. Before placing the orchid back in its decorative pot, allow the excess water to drain off. Once a month, you can add a small amount of orchid fertilizer to the watering can. Repot the plant every two years if possible. Enjoy the pure white splendor of your new Showtime butterfly orchids.
