Easy to care for and undemanding
Your Nerium oleander is probably one of the oldest and most popular container plants of all time. Thanks to its southern charm, it spreads a Mediterranean atmosphere in your outdoor area. Generally, your oleander standard is undemanding and quite easy to care for. Nevertheless, you should keep a few things in mind to ensure you can enjoy your new plant for a long time. A sunny but sheltered spot is recommended for your oleander standard. The more sun your oleander receives, the more abundant its blooms will be. Although your oleander is a very thirsty plant, it doesn't tolerate water from above, so you should position it where it is protected from rain. When watering, always water the oleander standard close to the base and use lukewarm, hard water, as this promotes growth and flowering. While the plant is winter-hardy, if temperatures drop below -5°C (23°F), you should move it to a winter location. When temperatures rise again in spring, it can bloom in all its glory outdoors once more. Feed your oleander once or twice a week during its flowering period with fertilizer for flowering plants or container plants. Also, ensure that the substrate is predominantly mineral, calcareous, and has a high clay or loam content. Create a holiday atmosphere in your outdoor space and enjoy the fragrant scent of your oleander trunk! Properties: Name: Nerium oleander
