Floral Magic for Your Garden

The purple rhododendron hybrid is a true garden classic that creates an impressive sea of blossoms every spring. With a maximum height of approximately 140 cm and a width of up to 160 cm, it is perfectly suited to create a dense hedge or to add a magnificent accent to flower beds and containers. The plant is characterized by its winter hardiness down to -24 °C, its evergreen foliage, and its wind resistance. Three to four plants are sufficient for one linear meter of hedge. Its numerous flowers with dark centers attract many bees and other beneficial insects in May and June. Slightly acidic to acidic soil and a location in sun or partial shade promote its growth.
